Against a backdrop of global economic volatility and the urgent need for transformation in Vietnam’s logistics industry, the 2024 Vietnam Logistics Conference, themed ‘Transformation for Breakthrough’, was held in Ho Chi Minh City on October 31st. Organized by Dau Tu Newspaper and backed by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the event featured a <\/span>noteworthy<\/span> exhibition by <\/span>Dongtam<\/span> Group and Long <\/span>An<\/span> International Port. The Vietnam Logistics <\/span>Summit <\/span>2024 attracted over 300 <\/span>delegate<\/span>s, including leaders from<\/span> government<\/span> agencies such as the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Transport<\/span>,<\/span> industry experts<\/span>,<\/span> logistic<\/span>s<\/span> companies,<\/span> and representatives from domestic and international business associations.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The Vietnam Logistics <\/span>Summit<\/span> 2024 served as an important forum for experts and businesses to share experiences and seek solutions to promote digital transformation and enhance the efficiency of Vietnam\u2019s <\/span>logistics<\/span> sector, meeting the increasingly high demands of the market. In his opening speech, Mr. Le Trong Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Bao Dau Tu<\/span> newspaper<\/span>, highlighted the bright prospects of Vietnam\u2019s <\/span>logistics<\/span> sector thanks to free trade agreements, favorable geographical location, and government support. However, to fully capitalize on these opportunities, the <\/span>logistics<\/span> sector needs significant transformations. The National Assembly is actively promoting digital and green transformation strategies, emphasizing the importance of upgrading and innovating the <\/span>logistics<\/span> sector. At the same time, businesses need to proactively innovate and enhance their competitiveness to meet the market\u2019s increasingly high demands and <\/span>elevate their position<\/span> on the global <\/span>logistics<\/span> map.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Vietnam Logistics <\/span>Summit <\/span>2024 has successfully concluded, providing opportunities for associations, logistics enterprises to meet, exchange needs and potential linkages, and expand business networks; at the same time, having a comprehensive view of the logistics sector, development trends, thereby researching and building more optimal and efficient service models to meet market demands.
