The aquatic product and seafood hunting, fishing is one of the traditional industries bringing the huge benefit source to the country and also ensuring the life of the Vietnamese people. Our fishermen are day and night clinging onto sea, contribute significantly to the sea economic development as well as reinforce firmly the national sea island sovereignty. The dangers, difficulties due to natural disasters, rainstorms, transportation, limited fishing and even unforeseen dangers on the immense ocean make the fishermen not to feel secure to cling onto the sea, this affects considerably the sea economy of the country and the national defense.<\/p>\n

Responding to the appeal of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Labor Newspaper to launch the \u2018Love net\u201d program on July 2012, Mr. Vo Quoc Thang shows that: \u201cthis program has the very practical human meaning, associates with the humanitarian tradition of the Vietnamese nation. We agree to support and to be responsible to take part in this program\u201d. All members, officials and employees of Dong Tam Joint Stock Company along with the enterprises, social organizations, all Vietnamese people desire to give strength to the fishermen to have more conditions of equipment, sea vehicles, fishing equipment to stabilize the life.<\/p>\n

Since July 2012, all members, officials and employees of Dong Tam have organized the campaign of \u201cMeter of land \u2013 meter of net \u2013 for the fishermen of Vietnam\u201d. Accordingly, in the real estate business plan, each square meter of the industrial park, urban area which is traded, rented, the Company shall deduct 20,000VND to contribute to the \u201cLove net\u201d program. The Company\u2019s campaign shall last 3 continuous years, starting on July 2012 to December 2015, with the estimated business plan of 750,000m2 and obtaining 15 billion VND.<\/p>\n

On the occasion of the 45-year Dong Tam brand name founding day anniversary (June 25th, 1969 \u2013 June 25th, 2014, on June 3rd, 2014, at the Labor Newspaper\u2019s office in Hochiminh city, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung \u2013 General Director of Dong Tam Joint Stock Company, on behalf of the Company, continues to support 1 billion VND to the program in total estimated 5 billion VND which shall be granted in 2014.<\/p>\n

Besides the operation activities, also Dong Tam be directed toward the activities serving the community and society actively, the typical are the programs to grant scholarships to the pupils \u2013 students of difficult situation; to offer Tet gifts to the people in the remote zone, revolutionary base zone\u2026; to care for the lonely old people, orphans\u2026 In addition, \u201cMeter of land \u2013 meter of net \u2013 for the fishermen of Vietnam\u201d is also not the 1st program in which all officials and employees of Dong Tam take part together with the whole country in the itinerary toward the sea island of Vietnam. With the business culture and philosophy of: \u201cHumanity \u2013 Enforcing the human value, join hands for the community, society\u201d, recently, the Company has also participated in the program of \u201cContribution of stones to construct Truong Sa\u201d and the Dong Tam\u2019s leading representative came directly to offer gifts; to exchange with all staff, soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district. The lively, practical images, sentiments recorded from this trip have shared the extremely touched and meaningful messages from the remote island of the Fatherland back to the Dong Tam\u2019s officials and employees, thence bringing the motivation and the great educative values for the generations of Dong Tam\u2019s staff who have a peaceful life, work, study and live on the mainland. Each greatly sacred inch of ground of the Fatherland is the sacrifice, hardship of the people, staff, soldiers who live and perform the task in the drilling platforms, islands, territorial waters, is the hard livelihood of the fishermen to cling onto the sea. All are to protect the sovereignty of the Vietnamese beautiful, rich and civilized country.<\/p>\n

Through this program, the Company also wishes to call the social organizations, enterprise community, entrepreneurs, all Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad to participate together in the program of \u201cLove net for Hoang Sa \u2013 Truong Sa fishermen\u201d launched by the Labor Newspaper. A program has educative and human meaning so that everybody can travel accompany with, encourage all fishermen of Vietnam to cling onto the career, the sea.<\/p>\n
