In celebration of the 70th National Day, 2nd September and the success of the Festival of the Vietnam Journalist’s Association and in order to create a forum for people to strengthen their health and an opportunity for leaders from newspapers and companies to meet up and build relationships, the HCMC Jounalists\u2019 Association and Thanh Nien Newspaper co-organized the first Corporate Newspaper Leadership tennis tournament in 2015. \u00a0<\/p>\n

There were more than 40 players from 30 leagues of 22 newspaper publications participating in the mixed doubles tennis tournament. The tournament was held on 30 August 2015 at the tennis grounds of Green City Sport Complex in Long An Province.<\/p>\n

At the tournament, Mr. Phan Van Mai, Provincial Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ben Tre Province; Mr. Dang Van Xuong \u2013 Chairman of the People Committee of Long An Province; Mr. Huynh Van Nhi \u2013 Chairman of Fatherland Front of Binh Duong Province; Mr. Ma Dieu Cuong \u2013 Chairman of HCMC Journalists Association; Mr. Nguyen Quang Thong \u2013 Chairman of Vietnam Youth Federation and Chief Editor of Thanh Nien Newspaper; Mr. Nguyen Van Hung – Member of the Standing Committee of Binh Duong Province, Chairman and General Director of Becamex Corporation handed the awards to players. \u00a0<\/p>\n

At the end, doubles Duong Vu Thong (HCMC Journalists’ Association) and Vo Quoc Thang (Dongtam Group) won the championship award; the 1st runners up were double players Vo Thu Ha (VOV) and Nguyen Minh Canh (Design) and 2nd runners up were Le Hai (Agricultural Newspapers), Do Van Muoi (Strassco), Xuan Cuong (HTV) and Bao Toan (Vinasun).<\/p>\n

Dong Tam Group was honored to be the main sponsor of this tournament. On September 26, the tournament will once again be held at Becamex tennis grounds in Binh Duong New City and this time mixed double teams were able to enter as well.<\/p>\n

Dongtam sports Complex in the of Green City project developed by Dongtam Group is one of the most anticipated urban areas in Long An. In the future, the promising project will be a new and green urban area developed to meet international standards. This 104 hectare new development is heavily invested to deliver modern facilities. At the moment, several facilities are opened and put into use including a transaction office, customer service office, banks, parks, restaurants, sport complex, a swimming pool, a mini football pitch and tennis courts. In April 2015, residential unit No.4 for officers in the Long An Centre of Administration and Politics organized a groundbreaking ceremony and gained attention of investors from HCMC and surrounding areas.\u00a0<\/p>\n
