On 28\/01\/2018 at the Reunification Hall of Long An Province People\u2019s Committee (61 Nguyen Hue, Ward 1, Tan An City, Long An Province), Study Promotion Association of Long An Province and Long An Department of Education and Training co-held the awarding ceremony for \u201cPartnering with School Dream\u201d scholarships sponsored by Dong Tam Group.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At the ceremony, Dong Tam Group gave 408 scholarships and gifts including: notebooks, pens and helmets worth almost VND 2 Billion in total, to:\u00a0<\/p>\n

– 48 top-score pupils, successfully passing College\/University admission tests for 2017-2018 academic year, winning praises and Merit Certificates of Long An Department of Education and Training, receiving scholarships worth VND 2 Million apiece.\u00a0<\/p>\n

– 175 senior high school pupils, receiving scholarships worth VND 3 Million apiece.\u00a0<\/p>\n

–\u00a0 \u00a0182 junior high school pupils, receiving scholarships worth VND 2 Million apiece<\/p>\n

–\u00a0 \u00a0Especially 3 pupils in extremely difficult situation, receiving scholarships worth VND 5 Million apiece.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Also in this Program, Dong Tam Group signed the sponsorship agreement with Study Promotion Association of Long An Province to grant scholarships worth VND 3 Billion during 3 academic years: 2018 – 2019 – 2020. The signing ceremony appeared more solemn in the presence of Mr. Truong Tan Sang – former Politburo Member, former State President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr. Pham Thanh Phong – Chairman of Study Promotion Association of Long An Province and Mr. Vo Quoc Thang – Chairman of Dong Tam Group.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With the corporate culture featuring \u201cHumanity –\u00a0 people-oriented policies, joining hands for social community\u201d, in nearly 50 years, Dong Tam Group has carried out thousands of sponsorship programs targeted at beneficiaries in difficult situation nationwide. Such programs included contributing tens of VND billion to social organizations, paying gratitude to people with merits for national peace protection such as: financial support to My Lai Peace Foundation and Retiree Officer Club, construction of headquarters of Khanh Hoa Province Blind Association, construction of Truong Sa Medical Station, giving thousands of gifts to the poor and the underprivileged on every occasion of Lunar New Year\u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition, Dong Tam Group has awarded thousands of annual scholarships to poor pupils with good study results in provinces around the country, especially at remote island districts or border regions, children of fighters protecting the East Sea sovereignty, all in an effort to encourage younger generations to firmly progress on their road of learning, becoming useful people making good contribution to the country’s prosperity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For Long An Province, every year, Dong Tam Group donates tens of VND Billion to social activities ranging from awarding of scholarships, giving Lunar New Year gifts to poor people, presenting Mid-Autumn gifts to pupils at Can Duoc District, Can Giuoc District\u2026, building charitable houses, rural bridges at remote and extremely difficult areas in Long An Province.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On the occasion of new year 2018, the \u201cPartnering with School Dream\u201d scholarships to poor pupils relentlessly fighting off obstacles and pursuing study carried all the love and heart of Dong Tam Group personnel. Expectedly, these pupils would be greatly motivated to overcome any challenges in life, realizing their dreams and aspirations, becoming good children at home and good pupils at school, and later helpful people in family and society.\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n
