At the General Meeting, there were Mr. Le Ba Phuoc and Mr. Pham Van Ranh – Vice Chairmen of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Vo Le Tuan – Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front, leaders from provincial departments and organizations, representatives from Vietnam Youth Federation, representatives from Vietnam YEA, sponsors, reporters and 200 representatives of Long An YEA and other neighboring provinces/cities.
After the opening ceremony, delegates discussed a brief report of the results and activities committed by the Association 2008 – 2014 term, guidelines to operate the Association for the 2014 – 2017 term; a brief limitation report of the Executive Committee term 2008 – 2014, a brief report of opinions on the General Meeting’s documents, a consultation report of the 4th Executive Committee term 2014 – 2017, an introduction of the 4th Executive Committee and the Association’s Inspector Board, a report of consultation result and introduction of representatives for the National Congress.
After an active working day of solemn, concentrated and democratic atmosphere, the general meeting of Long An‘s YEA has successfully ended. In the same evening, the delegates gathered at Long An’s administration center urban area – the Green City project – to join a casual evening to network with enterprises located inside and outside of Long An province in a united and sharing atmosphere.
Information about Long An YEA and the Green City project
In 1992, the Young Entrepreneurs’ Club, founded by Long An Provincial Standing Committee, has united enterprise members by Vietnam Youth Federation Committee. In 1996, Long An YEA was founded with 43 members and increased to 79 members in 2011. Long An’s YEA has been actively supported by the Standing Committee and provincial Vietnam Youth Federation to organize activities, to promote the role of entrepreneurs with social activities and observance of laws and to build a culture of entrepreneurs and enterprises. In 2008, the General Meeting of Long An YEA term 2008 – 2014 took place.
Green City is one of the most highly-expected residential area in Long An province. In the future it will become a new, green and high standard city as other modern cities around the world. With an area of 104 hectares, the project has been a focus of Dong Tam Joint Stock Company to present a variety of modern and convenient facilities. At the moment, some of the project’s facilities have been opened including Kien Long Bank – Long An Branch, Club House Entertainment Area including tennis courts, restaurants, and swimming pools. Afterwards, other facilities of the Green City Residential Area will be opened including offices, more restaurants, mini football field…etc.
