In order to support and accompany the Korean business community in Vietnam in the implementation of tax and customs legislation, on 25/4/2023, the conference on Vietcombank and some issues related to tax and customs policy in 2023 took place at Vietcombank Long An’s Headquarter. The event was attended by Heads of Long An Tax Department and Bureau of Customs at Long An Province.

At the conference, Representatives from Bureau of Long An Customs and Tax Department introduced some issues related to Vietnam’s customs and tax policies in 2023. In the presentation about Long An International Port, Mr. Peter Slootweg – CEO of Long An International Port Operation & Management JSC, stated: “Long An International Port is the key project in the greater master development plan of Dongtam Group. In the future, the 1,935-hectare port complex will form an industrial ecosystem connecting the existing port area as well as the industrial park, industrial service area, and urban area, working together to play a pivotal role in facilitating trade between Mekong Delta and other regions in the country and internationally.”.
