On the evening August 20, at Hoa Binh theatre (HCMC), Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) has organized the Gala Awards Night to reward and recognize individuals and groups who had made outstanding achievements and contributions to Vietnam Football League 2014.

At the Gala Awards Night, there were Mr. Pham Van Tuan – Deputy Director of the National Administration of Sport, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Gu – Deputy Director of VPF Public Relations, Mr. Le Hoai Anh – VPF Chief Secretary, and a special guest, and Mr. Mitsuru Murai, Chairman of Japanese Professional Football League (J-League).

Representing VPF Board of Directors, Mr. Vo Quoc Thang, Chairman of Dong Tam Joint Stock Company, delivered a speech to thank the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Football Federation, all the football clubs, the referees team, the supervisors team, the experts, the newspapers, radio and TV channels and all the football fans all over the country who have supported VPF to successfully organize 2014 Football League. VPF leaders also appreciated the contributions of major financial institutions and media for sponsoring 2014 Football League as well as the cooperation of the Management Board of Japan Professional Football Company. Mr. Vo Quoc Thang also stated that VPF hoped to continuously receive supports from domestic and oversea enterprises in contributing for the developments of Vietnam professional football industry in the future.

Gala Awards Night was meticulously organized to create an exciting and celebrating atmosphere, representing the victorious moments of recognitions for the teams and individuals after an efficient and sleepless league.

Chairman of J-League, Mr. Mitsuru Murai was invited to the stage for a speech. Mr. Mitsuru Murai believed in the strong cooperation Japan Football and Vietnamese Football had created in  the past. With that mutual relationship, he hoped Vietnam Football would grow stronger and one day would meet Japan at the World Cup.
