After more than a year from the launch of “Construction of Rural Bridges” program initiated by the former State President Truong Tan Sang and General Council of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, the program so far has won widespread support and mobilized sponsorship funds for 87 bridges/sewers with 78 of them in Long An Province. In this program, Dong Tam Joint Stock Company committed to finance 10 bridges worth nearly 10 billion VND in an effort to join hands with the State to build meaningful bridges for residents at remote areas and along the borders of Long An Province, contributing to economic development of the region there.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nguyen, aged 56, having her home close to the abutment of KT4 Bridge – one of bridges currently being built according to the Rural Bridge program at Thai Tri Commune, Vinh Hung District, was thrilled to tell us that people there were very happy with the new bridge and her family volunteered to provide free accommodation and storage facilities to the building contractor for the last two months.
Kenh Than Bun Bridge on T5 Channel jointly financed by Dong Tam Joint Stock Company and Truong Hai Auto Corporation has been at the piling stage.
Currently the working atmosphere of the construction team becomes very urgent. A group is driving piles, building the abutment, another group is gathering materials. The weather is cool, but drops of sweat keep rolling down on the cheeks of construction workers. The Program Organizer is scheduled to hold the ceremony to provide a summary report on construction works at Duc Hue District at the end of 12/2017 and all constructions works in Long An after the Lunar New Year 2018.
