According to the Resolution of 2015 General Meeting of Shareholders of Dong Tam Joint Stock Corporation, some key targets have been adopted, including: net revenues reaching VND 2000 billion, after-tax profit VND 220 billion.
At the meeting in preparation of 2016 plan, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, General Director of Dong Tam Joint Stock Corporation, on behalf of the Executive Board reported on business results of the first 10 months of 2015, accordingly, Dong Tam Group achieved some positive results: net revenues reached VND 1,600 billion, accounting for 80% of the annual plan, after-tax profit was VND 192 billion, accounting for 87.3% of the annual plan.
Dong Tam Brand with its history of over 46 years of presence in Vietnam market and 20 consecutive years winning the title “High Quality Vietnamese Product”, has well established the system consisting of 24 branches, showrooms, plus a network of 2,500 cooperating stores and distributors in all provinces, cities nationwide.
Always promptly following the world’s latest trends in design and technology of building material production, in an effort to meet the market demand at home and abroad, from early 2015, Dong Tam Corporation have invested in more production lines for the purposes of technology innovation, diversification of product sizes and design, boosting the production capacity of building materials and promoting the sales and distribution system with appropriate sales policies.
Apart from main traditional products such as ceramic tiles, clay tiles, paints, porcelains, uPVC doors/windows, wall sealers, tile glue, sanitary ware… preferred by the market, in recent years, the fresh concrete under Dong Tam brand name has also been given good credit and selected for use by customers for their construction works. By the end of 10/2015, the sales revenue of commercial fresh concrete has exceeded the 2015 plan, in specific increasing by 67% in revenue and 42% in output as compared with the plan. At the same time, the traditional patterned tiles, a favorite product of Dong Tam brand preferred in the market abroad has now won back customer attention at home. Reportedly, the production plan for patterned tiles has been scheduled up to 6/2016 for the orders received by the factory, in support of both export and domestic markets.
Above positive results are the driving force, urging the personnel of Dong Tam Group, under the close, prompt and flexible instructions of the Board of Directors, the Executive Board, to keep accelerating the effort to fulfill the business plan 2015, also serving as the basis for preparation of the business plan 2016.
