Especially, the ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of VAA was held at the Hanoi Opera House in the morning of 21/4, attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Mr. Vo Van Thuong, Politburo Member, Secretary of Central Party Committee, Head of Central Propaganda and Training Commission; Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha; Chairman of Hanoi City People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, leaders of some ministries, departments, and Party Central agencies.

This year, the 70th anniversary ceremony of VAA honored, paid tribute and gratitude to talents contributing to the architecture profession. Specifically, the ceremony honored families with 3 generations of architects such as family of Mr. Nguyen Cao Luy as the first generation of architects, then his decedents also practicing his profession. Or Mr. Ngo Huy Quynh, designer of the Independence Stand after liberation, who had been requested to complete his assignment in one day, finished his work on schedule… Also at the ceremony, VAA also presented the Devotion Certificates to 10 typical young architects; and 70 other typical architects of various generations.
As a long-time partner to all activities of Vietnam Association of Architects in general and Provincial/Municipal Association of Architects nationwide in specific, Dong Tam Group highly appreciate contributions of architects to creation of valuable and impressive architectural works, enriching the Vietnamese architecture.
