This activity is considered as a new nice feature, contributing to the distinctive and diversified company culture of Dong Tam. Previously, during flag salute at the week beginning or seeing office employees at work, we were familiar with the image of female employees in white shirts and trousers or office dress, now the image of the red Ao Dai embellished with Vietnam’s national flower symbol – lotus in combination with Dong Tam logo has impressed, enriched the distinctive identity and made the wearers more graceful and impressive.
This feature originated from the idea responding to the movement of Ho Chi Minh City honoring the beauty of Ao Dai, including the 2016 Ao Dai Festival to increase interactions and bring Ao Dai into the community life. This activity was also hailed with strong support from the leadership and personnel of Dong Tam Group, and carried out by office and shop employees (wearing Ao Dai on every Monday) and receptionists, showroom employees (wearing Ao Dai on Monday – Wednesday – Friday).
Borned in the 18th century, Ao Dai is not only a traditional costume, but also a cultural feature expressing Vietnam’s aesthetics and spirit. Over many stages, the image of ladies in Ao Dai has been deeply engraved into the national history as an impression of national costume of women.
In modern life, Ao Dai still retains a touch of personalization, reflecting the wearer’s personality or aesthetics taste. Among ready-made apparels, Ao Dai become a symbol for every woman, contributing to distingishing her personality a crowd
Expectedly, with the graceful Ao Dai at work place, the image of female employees in the eyes of the “other gender” appears somewhat more respectable, and of course the office will look more thorough and civilized to everyone
