On September 20, 2014, at the tennis courts of My Dinh (Tan An City), the stadium of Long An’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Dong Tam’s Entertainments and Sports Center (belongs to the Green City project – Long An Province Administration Center Urban Area), the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, coordinated with the provincial Tennis Federation and the sponsors (including Kien Long Commercial Joint Stock Bank) hosted Long An Province Tennis Tournament 2014.
Mr. Pham Van Ranh – Vice Chairman of Long An Province People’s Committee, representatives from provincial departments, organizations, sponsors and enterprises attended the opening ceremony. This year tournament attracted 80 players who are leaders, supervisors, officials, and workers from different enterprises, departments and organizations in Long An province. From the very beginning of the matches, the players had brought to the audience an exciting and thrilling atmosphere. The competitions included leadership men’s doubles (12 pairs), amateur men’s doubles (14 pairs), professional men’s doubles (8 pairs) and amateur women’s doubles (6 pairs). The competitions are in circles; one set 6 games, applying golden goals.
The friendly tennis tournament had successfully finished at 12 p.m. on the same day. The goal of the tournament is not only to boost exercises and sport activities, especially tennis, among the enterprises, departments and organizations in Long An province, but also to create opportunities for the members to meet and exchange professional expertise.
